چکیده

A laboratory incubation experiment was conducted during December, 2017 to March, 2018 in Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, College Agriculture, Raichur, Karnataka, India study the fractionation phosphorus (P) black soil amended with different phosphatic fertilizers under submerged condition. The were kept subemerged condition for 90 days phophatic such as single super phosphate (SSP), diammonium (DAP) mussoorie rock (MRP) alone or combination FYM PSB added through 13 treatment combinations. analyzed various inorganic P fractions (saloid P, Al-P, Fe-P, RS-P, occluded P,Ca-P) at definite intervals. results showed that calcium bound (Ca-P) dominant fraction whereas saloid recorded least fraction. It has seen application significantly increased all over control. All forms viz., aluminium (Al-P), iron (Fe-P),reductant soluble (RS-P) higher DAP along compared SSP MRP Ca-P period. 1st day after which it decreased passage time.

Effect of Phosphatic Fertilizers on Chemical Composition and Total Phosphorus Uptake by Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was grown in earthen pots containing soil of Balkasar Soil Series (Sandy Loam) in green house at the Department of Soil Science and SWC, Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi during Rabi season, 2007. The Crop was treated with two levels of Phosphorus (40 and 80 kg P ha-1 ) in the form of SSP, TSP, NP and DAP. A basal doze of 100 kg N and 60 kg K...

Soil Phosphatase Activity and Phosphorus Content as Influenced by Catch Crops Cultivated as Green Manure

In a 3-year experiment, the effect of catch crop management [catch crop incorporated in autumn (A) or mulched (B) vs plots without a catch crop (C)] on soil acid (PAC) and alkaline (PAL) phosphatase activities as well as on the available phosphorus content (PAVAIL) were investigated on typical Alfisol. The catch crops were sown at the beginning of August and ploughed in the autumn in 2008, 2009...

Phosphorus sources for phosphatic Cambrian carbonates

The fossilization of organic remains and shell material by calcium phosphate minerals provides an illuminating, but time-bounded, window into Ediacaran–Cambrian animal evolution. For reasons that remain unknown, phosphatic fossil preservation declined signifi cantly through Cambrian Series 2. Here, we investigate the phosphorus (P) sources for phosphatic Cambrian carbonates, presenting sediment...
